Job summary

Warwickshire County Council's Family Help team is seeking an experienced social worker for a permanent, full-time role. You will support children and whole families through locality-based, multi-agency teams, keeping children's voices central to decisions.

Requirements include Social Work England registration and a completed ASYE, with a track record in complex children's cases and strong analytical/reporting skills. Generous benefits and agile working are offered.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in children's social work
• Experience of complex cases

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children and families as a practitioner
• Build strong relationships with families and engage with children
• Ensure children's voices are heard and central to decision-making
• Make well-informed decisions using sound analytical judgement
• Produce concise, effective and accurate reports and records
• Work within locality-based, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams supporting the whole family
• Build partnerships with local health, police and education services
• Improve outcomes for young people in the county
