Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is supporting a well established NI organisation to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their Newtownabbey finance team. You will prepare monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist statutory reporting.

The role offers a £40k–£45k salary, annual bonus, enhanced pension, private medical and 37 days leave in a hybrid (3/2) pattern.

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience gained in practice or industry or a combination of both.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial information for senior management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support statutory reporting and audit requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary to support business decision-making.
• Assist with the development and improvement of financial processes and controls.
