Job summary

JGA Recruitment is seeking a qualified Audit professional in Belfast to join our established Audit & Assurance team. The role offers ownership of client assignments with progression toward management-level responsibility.

You will take charge of planning and completing audits, lead fieldwork, and ensure files meet standards while producing statutory FS. You will mentor juniors and manage deadlines across diverse client portfolios.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified.
• Strong audit experience in accountancy practice.
• Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience auditing clients across multiple sectors.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of portfolio budgets, deadlines and profitability targets.
• Coach, mentor and review the work of junior audit colleagues.
• Work across a varied portfolio of clients and industries.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
