Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Accountant to join their finance function based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will prepare monthly management accounts, perform financial analysis and partner with senior management on budgeting and business decisions, reporting to the Financial Controller. This is an office-based role with a strong focus on commercial insight and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong financial accounting, analytical and commercial skills.
• Strong communication & stakeholder management experience.
• Strong IT and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Monitor project performance, costs, margins and profitability, providing commercial insight.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and departmental financial reviews.
• Business partner with department managers to support informed decision-making.
• Support tax, compliance, audit requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

MCS Group is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an Accountant to join their finance function based in Banbridge.

The Company:

Our client is a successful and established organisation with a strong presence in Northern Ireland. As part of the continued development of their finance function, they are seeking a qualified Accountant to support the preparation of management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting and wider commercial decision-making.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an established finance team and gain broad exposure across financial accounting, project performance and business partnering.

The Rewards:

As the successful Accountant, you will receive:

• £50,000 - £55,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
