Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Newtownabbey to lead the day-to-day finance function for a growing business. You will report to senior management and drive strong financial control, accurate reporting and informed business decision-making.

The role offers a £50k–£60k salary, an annual bonus, a company pension, 23 days leave plus statutory holidays, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with up-to-date membership.
• Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to influence senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations.

An established and growing business based in Newtownabbey is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its team. This is a newly created position.

An excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within a successful and expanding organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting and effective business decision-making.

The Role

Reporting to senior management, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the finance function and providing accurate, timely financial information to support the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day finance operations
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, including credit control
• Managing VAT and other statutory returns
• Monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Maintaining robust financial controls and processes
• Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants/auditors
• Providing commercial financial analysis and insight to senior management
• Managing and developing finance processes as the business continues to grow
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation

About You

• Chartered Accountant
• Strong knowledge of management accounts and financial reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to interpret financial information
• Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting/ERP systems
• The confidence to work closely with senior management and influence business decisions
