Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is sourcing an experienced Registered Manager for a brand new children’s home in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. You will lead a dedicated staff team, ensure Ofsted readiness and safeguarding, and drive budget management and child-centred outcomes.

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare is required, with Level 5 in progress or willingness to enrol. This is a permanent, full-time role offering development opportunities within a leading healthcare provider.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children & Young People or equivalent) is required.
• Level 5 qualification is preferred or willingness to enrol.
• Experience in a children’s residential setting and safeguarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Support with the setup and development of a new children’s home.
• Lead and support a motivated staff team.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and agencies.
• Support recruitment, staff development and supervision.
• Contribute to budget and resource management.
• Promote child-centred culture focused on safety and wellbeing.
