Job summary

Get Recruited Ltd in Blakcburn, Lancashire, is looking for a Business Development Manager to own the sales function, inherit warm accounts and drive growth across the UK.

You will build relationships, generate new business, manage quotations and pipeline, and help shape the commercial team as the business expands. This is an office-based role with opportunities for progression and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Development, Sales or Account Management role.
• Confident in building relationships over the phone and developing long-term partnerships.
• Proactive, driven salesperson able to identify opportunities and win new business.
• Experience managing a mix of existing accounts and bringing on new customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established customer base across the UK.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, LinkedIn, and relationship building.
• Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into sales.
• Work with builders' merchants, distributors and gas sector customers.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and ensure excellent customer service.
• Negotiate pricing and maximise commercial opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and manage your sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with the wider team to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Play a key role in shaping future growth of the commercial team.
