The opportunity:

We are looking for a New Business Manager to join our New Business team. This role will help drive our agency growth strategy, in particular focusing on our Marketing to 16-24s offer. You will be supporting outreach, content, and new client conversations with a focus on building relationships with brands that want to connect meaningfully with emerging adult audiences.

Role overview:

The New Business Manager is a full-time role that sits within the New Business team, reporting into the New Business & Marketing Director and working closely with the Client Partner leads.

This role will focus on executing our youth marketing business development strategy – including lead generation, outbound prospecting, initial client conversations, pitch coordination, and content creation that positions We Are Futures as the authority on engaging 16-24s. You’ll play a key role in growing our presence in this space by identifying opportunities, opening doors, and showcasing our unique youth insights and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

New Business:

  • Support the delivery of the new business development strategy, identifying and targeting priority sectors and brands
  • Lead initial outbound prospecting, including cold outreach, email campaigns, and social approaches
  • Support new business meetings and early conversations with prospective clients
  • Collaborate with the New Business Director and Client Partner on responding to RFIs, RFPs, and inbound leads
  • Help prepare pitch materials, presentations, and tailored proposals for youth-focused briefs
  • Stay up to date with youth culture trends, and proactively identify how they can translate into business opportunities

Marketing & Content Support:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create and curate engaging content that positions our youth marketing credentials and thought leadership
  • Plan and support content campaigns that reach and engage target clients
  • Develop case studies and credentials decks that reflect our youth marketing expertise
  • Work with the wider New Business & Marketing team to align content and outreach strategies
  • Attend key events to help generate leads and stay up to date with the latest in the sector

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in a new business, marketing, or client development role (preferably in a marketing or creative agency)
  • Passion for youth culture, with a strong understanding of the 16-24s demographic
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong storytelling and deck creation skills
  • Proactive and commercially minded, with experience spotting and developing business opportunities
  • Experience with CRM and outreach tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and motivated by results
