UBT is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Central belt of Scotland, focusing on industrial packaging. Hybrid role in Glasgow with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers and growing key accounts.

You will identify opportunities, develop territory plans, and build long-term customer relationships while collaborating across operations and commercial teams. Attractive package includes basic salary, bonus and car/allowance.

Formación

• Experience in packaging, industrial consumables, manufacturing, distribution, or related B2B environment.
• Proven track record of delivering new business growth and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and account development skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, target, and win new customers across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
• Develop and execute a territory growth plan aligned to business objectives.
• Generate opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals and social selling.
• Build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
• Present tailored proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and secure profitable business.
• Manage onboarding and account development for newly acquired customers.
• Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline visibility and forecast reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, customer service and commercial teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
