Job summary

UBT is seeking a driven New Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Central belt of Scotland from Glasgow. The role targets new customer acquisition, onboarding, and long‑term account development within the industrial packaging sector.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with decision makers, and shape the company’s commercial expansion in Scotland, with a hybrid working pattern and strong earning potential including a base salary plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging, industrial consumables, manufacturing, distribution, or related B2B environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and win new customers across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
• Develop and execute a territory growth plan aligned to business objectives.
• Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, social selling, and industry engagement.
• Build strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
• Present tailored proposals, negotiate commercial agreements, and secure profitable business.
• Manage onboarding and account development for newly acquired customers.
• Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline visibility, and forecast reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, customer service, and commercial teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
