Job summary

Qualifications

• Secretarial/administrative experience essential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
• Ability to work with clinical teams and patients.
• Experience with patient access policies and RTT standards may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide full administrative service for Consultants and clinical staff.
• Act as first point of contact for clinical teams and patients.
• Monitor clinic slot utilisation and co-ordinate outpatient activity.
• Communicate appointment information to patients and carers.
• Support pathways to ensure mandatory waiting time targets are met.
