Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Neurology Service Co-Ordinator (NHS AfC: Band 5). The role is fixed-term for nine months, part-time (28 hours per week) with maternity cover.

The post supports Neurology & Hyper Acute Stroke Unit operations, including staff supervision, pathway management and performance monitoring. You will work within a busy team, driving improvements in service efficiency and patient care while balancing professional development opportunities and

Formación

• GCSEs including English and Maths at grades C/4 or above or equivalent.
• Degree in a relevant subject or able to demonstrate knowledge, training and experience that would equate to degree level.
• ILM or similar relevant, accredited leadership and management qualification(s).

Responsabilidades

• Support the Operational Manager and Service Manager in the day-to-day management of the Neurology Service and Hyper Acute Stroke Unit.
• Lead and support administrative teams, including staff development, appraisals, recruitment and performance management.
• Ensure robust administrative processes to support efficient service delivery and high standards of patient care.
• Promote staff wellbeing and foster a positive, supportive working environment.
• Oversee patient pathways, waiting lists and clinical activity, ensuring targets and standards are met.
