Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Neurology Service Co‑Ordinator (NHS AfC Band 5) on a 28-hour-per-week fixed-term contract for nine months to maternity cover. The role involves supporting the Neurology Service and Hyper Acute Stroke Unit, leading administrative teams, managing patient pathways and waiting lists, and ensuring performance against targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operational Manager and Service Manager in day-to-day management of the Neurology Service and Hyper Acute Stroke Unit.
• Lead and support administrative teams, including appraisals and performance management.
• Ensure processes support efficient service delivery and patient care.
• Oversee patient pathways and waiting lists; monitor performance against targets.
• Collaborate with clinical teams; act as key contact for operational matters.
