Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 patient pathway navigator within the Neurology department. The role sits in a team of navigators and clinical pathway administrators, guiding the patient journey from referral to discharge with strong organisation and IT skills.

Fixed-term for 4 months with potential secondment. Requirements include English and Maths GCSE, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and confidential handling of patient information.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Experience managing workloads and deadlines in fast-paced settings.
• IT literate with MS Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the patient journey from referral to discharge.
• Keep administrative processes coordinated around patient needs.
• Maintain service delivery and improvements within the department.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team supporting clinicians.
• Support and reassure patients attending the Neurology service.
• Work under the Clinical Pathway Manager.
