Meadow View Neurological Centre in Basingstoke is seeking a Rehab Assistant to support adults with complex neurological conditions to achieve greater independence. You will combine care, therapy support and companionship, getting to know each person and understanding what matters to them.

This is more than a traditional care role. You will work closely with residents and the multidisciplinary team, following individual care and rehabilitation plans, assisting with daily living, encouraging

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A positive, patient and encouraging attitude.
• Ability to motivate and empower people while respecting their choices and independence.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and individual routines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous care experience is welcomed but is not essential.

Responsabilités

• Support adults with complex neurological conditions to achieve greater independence and progress towards goals.
• Combine care, therapy support and companionship, getting to know each person and what matters to them.
• Work with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team following individual care and rehabilitation plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and encourage participation in activities and therapy sessions.
• Provide social and emotional support and help people work towards personal goals.
