Job summary

Meadow View Neurological Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire, is seeking a Rehab Assistant to support adults with complex neurological conditions. You will blend care, therapy support and companionship to help residents gain independence and reach personalised goals.

You will work with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team, following individual rehabilitation plans and providing practical support, encouragement and social engagement daily.

Qualifications

• Caring, person-centered approach essential.
• Strong communication with residents and families.
• Positive, patient and encouraging attitude.
• Ability to motivate and empower people while supporting independence.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and routines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.
• Care experience welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with neurological conditions to independence and progress toward goals.
• Combine care, therapy support and companionship in daily routine.
• Follow individual care and rehabilitation plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and participation in therapy sessions.
• Provide social and emotional support to residents.
• Encourage active involvement in rehabilitation and routines.
