Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a passionate Neurodiversity Tutor to support neurodiverse learners at HMP Bronzefield. You will adapt teaching approaches and work with professionals to improve outcomes, supporting rehabilitation and resettlement goals.

The role emphasizes SEND, inclusion and collaborative work with prison education teams. A minimum of two years' teaching or teaching-assistant experience is required, with Level 3 qualifications and a commitment to patient, empathetic support.

Qualifications

• Two years' qualified teaching or teaching-assistant experience.
• Level 3 qualification or above in an appropriate subject, with experience in a learning difficulty such as autism or dyslexia.
• Strong understanding of SEND and the SEND Code of Practice, with ability to adapt learning to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Support neurodiverse learners with a range of needs.
• Assess individual needs and develop ILPs, setting targets and monitoring progress.
• Deliver and adapt teaching and learning for individuals and small groups.
• Drive quality and learner outcomes and ensure attendance and achievement targets are met.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals including social workers and speech and language therapists.
• Support wider education quality and inclusion including guidance, training and maintaining learner records.
