Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a passionate Neurodiversity Tutor to join the Education, Skills and Work team at HMP Bronzefield. You will support neurodiverse learners to access education, develop confidence and achieve their full potential, collaborating with staff and external professionals to tailor learning approaches and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' qualified teaching or teaching-assistant experience.
• Level 3 qualification in an appropriate subject; autism or dyslexia experience preferred.
• Strong SEND knowledge and ability to tailor learning to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Support neurodiverse learners with a range of needs, including autism, dyslexia, learning difficulties, sensory impairments and social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Assess individual needs and develop ILPs, setting targets and monitoring progress.
• Deliver and adapt teaching and learning for individuals and small groups with appropriate strategies and resources.
• Drive quality and learner outcomes, ensuring qualifications and attendance targets are met.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals including social workers and therapists.
• Support wider education quality and inclusion, including staff guidance, provision mapping and records.
