Job summary

Teceze is seeking a Hands & Feet Engineer to support network deployment activities on-site at locations such as Sharnbrook, Bedford. You will validate device delivery, perform link tests, and assist with server room setup, gateway installs and post-test checks.

You will provide remote console access to engineers, ensure neat cabling, assist with AP mounting, and support client-guided laptop testing. On-site presence and practical hardware skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with field hardware deployment and on-site setup.
• Ability to perform basic network tests and validate connections.
• Familiarity with on-site cabling practices and equipment labeling.

Responsibilities

• Device delivery validation and video recording.
• Link testing, performance validation, and MTU check.
• Server room feasibility assessment.
• Gateway installation and POST checks.
• Providing remote console to remote engineers.

Hands & Feet Engineer Support for Network Deployment Activity.

Site Location: Sharnbrook, Bedford, MK44 1LQ

Hardware Validation with Inventory & Installation:

• Device delivery validation and video recording
• Link 1 testing, performance validation, and MTU check ---- Teceze
• Server room feasibility assessment ---- Teceze
• Gateway installation and Power-On Self-Test (POST) ---- Teceze
• Giving remote console to remote engineers ------ Teceze
• Giving remote console to remote engineers ------ Teceze
• device configuration part taken care by Client
• Giving remote console to remote engineers ------ Teceze
• All cabling is properly aligned and neatly routed with proper labelling for all cables and devices, ------ Teceze
• If needed, all APs are mounted securely as per the installation guidelines ------ Teceze
• Laptop build and test activity guided by client ---- Teceze
• Testing activities via Client Laptop guided by client ---- Teceze

Tools Required:

• Laptop with administrative privileges and Microsoft Teams application installed
• Console cable, RJ45 patch cable, and USB Type-C to Type-C console cable
• For Access point -Micro USB to USB A
• RJ45 to USB adapter
• Comprehensive hardware installation toolkit
• Personal internet connection
• Self-tapping screws for Aruba WAP mounting plates (please ensure the correct specification)
