Job summary

Wavenet is seeking a Network & Security Delivery Team Lead to drive complex network and security projects for enterprise customers. You will lead workshops, design LLDs, produce statements of work, and deliver multi-vendor solutions built around Cisco and Fortinet.

The role also leads a team of 5–6 engineers, mentoring them, allocating work, and managing performance. Strong stakeholder engagement and eligibility for UK SC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network and security solutions, ideally in MSP/ISP environments.
• Hands-on routing, switching and security; focus on Cisco and Fortinet; SD-WAN, enterprise networking and NGFW config.
• Wireless and radius server experience (ISE or FortiNac) is beneficial.
• Proven lead role on customer projects; ability to produce LLDs and effort estimates; interact with senior stakeholders.
• Mentoring engineers; informal leadership; formal line management not required.
• CCNP-level certification and Fortinet NSE7/FCSS; CCIE is a strong advantage; Azure networking, MPLS, Palo Alto, Extreme or Cato welcomed.
• Eligible for SC clearance, full UK driving licence, willing to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects end-to-end: workshops, LLDs, SoWs, multi-vendor designs and delivery.
• Split time: 80% hands-on delivery, 20% leading a 5–6 consultant team with mentoring and performance support.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales and delivery teams; provide coverage for Team Leaders as needed.
