Job summary

team.blue Internet Services UK Limited in Reading is seeking a motivated Technical Support Advisor to join the Network Operations Centre. You will manage customer and provider interactions via phone, email, and ticket system, escalating when needed, and perform hardware maintenance including racking/cabling and server reboots.

You will act as a liaison between customers and the Network Team to facilitate troubleshooting of network-related issues, with shift-based hours including 7am–7pm and

Qualifications

• Data centre experience required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Experience in help desk or technical support environments.
• Understanding of DNS concepts helpful.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux/Windows concepts.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via email, phone, ticket system and face-to-face.
• Coordinate with 3rd party providers to analyse and resolve issues.
• Perform hardware installation and cabling tasks (racking/cabling/memory/storage).
