Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking a Network Engineer for London-based engagement, working on client site in the insurance sector. This contract role is 2 days per week with a day rate of £500–£520 via Umbrella inside IR35.

The role focuses on designing secure network zones, enforcing firewall rules, and monitoring traffic to ensure policies do not disrupt critical business applications. Collaboration with security teams is essential to audit network boundaries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong knowledge: TCP/IP networking, routing and switching, firewall technologies, network segmentation and security principles, application connectivity and traffic analysis.
• Experience performing application dependency mapping and topology analysis.
• Experience producing low-level and high-level network designs.
• Experience planning and executing enterprise infrastructure changes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
