Job summary

QA Apprenticeships in the UK is offering a Network Engineer Apprentice role in Essex. You will provide 2nd line IT support, troubleshoot IT issues, and assist with infrastructure upgrades and client onboarding.

The programme focuses on Microsoft 365 administration, network and security tasks, with on-site and remote support across client environments. The position runs full-time as a higher-level apprenticeship, with practical training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• A-Level ICT or International Baccalaureate ICT Level 3 or equivalent.
• Level 3 apprenticeship in a related subject also considered.
• BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits) welcomed.
• Combination of qualifications and experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line IT support and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS and endpoint problems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 incl. Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Defender.
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
