Job summary

QA is recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice in the United Kingdom, offering hands-on experience while working toward a Level 3 IT Network Technician Apprenticeship. You will support internal and external users, diagnose issues, maintain systems, and contribute to a secure IT environment.

Working hours are 37.5 per week, with an emphasis on customer-focused service, teamwork, and continuous learning. Driving licence and own vehicle are desirable requirements for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ in any subject.
• GCSE Maths and English at grades 3+ (D or above).
• Applicants must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Log, manage, and update support tickets.
• Troubleshoot ICT issues using appropriate tools and methods.
• Communicate clearly with users, managing expectations and escalations.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and network devices.
• Support desktop setup, repair, and basic networking tasks.
• Apply security best practices and follow organisational policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.
