Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a busy NOC within a leading technology solutions provider. You will support a diverse customer base across finance, manufacturing, utilities and retail, working across networking, virtualization, cloud and security.

You’ll provide technical support, troubleshoot incidents, contribute to high/low level designs, and act as a SME. Expect ITIL-based processes, SLAs and a 24/7 on-call rota; occasional travel to Milton

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and network design skills.
• Experience in managed services environments and ITIL processes.
• Proactive, customer-facing communicator with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across complex customer environments and managed services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure incidents.
• Contribute to solution design, high/low-level design, implementations and projects.
• Act as escalation point and SME for networking issues.
• Work in ITIL-based environment, supporting SLAs, KPIs and change management.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Occasional travel to Milton Keynes/Watford data centres and offices.

Network Engineer - Managed Services

Up to £65,000 Per Annum

We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a highly skilled NOC team within a leading technology solutions provider.

You’ll support a diverse customer base across sectors including finance, manufacturing, utilities and retail, working across networking, infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation and security.

The Role

• Provide technical support across complex customer environments and managed services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure incidents.
• Contribute to solution design, HLD/LLD, implementations and technical projects.
• Act as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert.
• Work within an ITIL-based service environment, supporting SLAs, KPIs and change/problem management.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver a high level of technical service.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites, data centres and offices in Milton Keynes/Watford.
