Job summary

Method Resourcing is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to join a growing Network Services team supporting large-scale enterprise environments. Gloucester and London offices operate on a hybrid model (2-3 days onsite). Up to £65,000 plus benefits, permanent role.

You will troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN/WLAN, support SD-WAN, routing, switching and network security, assist with deployments, and drive network transformation projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN troubleshooting.
• Experience with SD-WAN, routing, switching and security.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Fortinet NSE certifications.
• Knowledge of SASE technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and improve critical customer networks.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Contribute to project delivery and service improvements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams, customers and third-party vendors.

Method Resourcing is supporting a leading technology and managed services organisation in the appointment of an experienced L3 Network Engineer to join a growing Network Services team supporting large-scale enterprise environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys hands-on networking, troubleshooting complex incidents and working across a varied technology stack within a customer-focused environment.

The Role

Working as part of a highly skilled network operations team, you'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving critical customer networks, acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues and contributing to project delivery and service improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting complex LAN, WAN and WLAN issues
• Supporting SD-WAN, routing, switching and network security technologies
• Assisting with network deployments, upgrades and migrations
• Performing root cause analysis for major incidents
• Working closely with internal teams, customers and third-party vendors
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation
• Contributing to network transformation and modernisation projects
