Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is recruiting a Band 5 staff nurse for the Special Care Baby Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality neonatal care within a family-centred approach across North Wales.

You will work with a dedicated team, have opportunities for development, and must complete the Neonatal QIS course with support provided. Welsh language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Band 5 registered nurse with UK NMC registration.
• Neonatal care experience desirable for the Special Care Baby Unit.
• Completion of Neonatal QIS course is required for this post.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care from admission to discharge for neonatal patients.
• Work with families to deliver family-centred care.
• Engage in education and professional development activities and CPD.
