Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking a confident Wellbeing Officer to deliver an all-age, locality-based wellbeing service within the Neighbourhoods and Wellbeing Service. You will promote the Care Act Wellbeing Principles and support adults, carers and Armed Forces communities to lead healthier, more independent lives.

The role involves working with partners and residents to foster strong communities, ensure dignity, and enable people to access appropriate support with choice and control.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult social care or related fields preferred.
• Ability to work in a locality-based service with a person-centred approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an all-age, locality-based wellbeing service with person-centred support.
• Promote Care Act Wellbeing Principles to improve health, education, work and social wellbeing.
• Identify and support unpaid adult carers and Armed Forces community members.
• Help people live independently at home by supporting healthy, active lifestyles.
• Ensure individuals have choice and control over their support.
