Job summary

Sheffield City Council, based in Sheffield, seeks an Employee Wellbeing Officer to promote wellbeing across the workforce. You will deliver campaigns, events, workshops and resources that support physical, mental and social wellbeing.

Working within the People and Organisational Culture team, you will help turn the People Strategy into practical actions, collaborate with managers, unions and partner services, and monitor impact to improve the workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering wellbeing initiatives, campaigns or programmes.
• Ability to analyse data, trends and feedback to identify priorities.
• Strong project-management and organisational skills with clear timescales.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills for different audiences.
• Ability to build relationships with managers, unions and external bodies.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Council’s employee wellbeing offer and increase awareness and engagement.
• Plan and deliver wellbeing campaigns, events, workshops and preventative initiatives.
• Coordinate the annual Employee Wellbeing Calendar aligned with inclusion priorities.
• Develop accessible resources and communications for employees and managers.
• Support the delivery and improvement of the wellbeing strategy and services.
• Use feedback and workforce data to identify priorities and interventions.
• Monitor participation and outcomes, producing reports and recommendations.
• Manage wellbeing projects from planning through to evaluation.
• Work with services to translate needs into wellbeing support.
• Build relationships with colleagues, unions, health partners and external organisations.
• Provide advice and contribute to policies improving workforce wellbeing.
• Support wider People and Organisational Culture projects and culture themes.
