Job summary

Res Publica Group is seeking a Community Wellbeing Officer to enhance wellbeing, community safety and safeguarding across the Cotswold District. You will collaborate with public sector partners and voluntary groups to deliver impactful projects and manage small budgets.

You will support safeguarding processes, triage referrals, and help deliver action plans while contributing to prevention, community engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a community wellbeing, community safety, safeguarding or related field.
• Excellent partnership working skills and ability to build effective relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, community development or wider wellbeing issues.
• Desirable: Experience within a local authority or politically sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage small project budgets and support delivery against performance targets and partnership action plans.
• Contribute to the team’s aim of building stronger, safer and more resilient communities.
• Support delivery of the Cotswold Community Safety Partnership Action Plan and triage safeguarding referrals.
• Develop robust safeguarding processes and learning with partners across the county.
