The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a confident Wellbeing Officer to deliver an all-age, locality-based wellbeing service. You will promote the Care Act Wellbeing Principles, support carers and Armed Forces communities, and work with partners to prevent escalation of need.

You will help individuals live independently at home by enabling choice and control while encouraging healthy, active lifestyles and community participation.

Formación

• Experience in wellbeing or related community services preferred.
• Ability to work in locality-based settings and engage diverse residents.
• Willingness to work with adults, carers, and Armed Forces communities.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver an all-age, person-centred service in a locality base.
• Promote Care Act Wellbeing Principles and support health and wellbeing.
• Identify and support unpaid adult carers early.
• Identify and support the Armed Forces community early.
• Help people lead healthy, connected, and active lives at home.
• Ensure individuals have choice and control over their support.
• Provide customer-facing delivery of early intervention and prevention solutions.
• Collaborate with partners, residents, services and communities.
