City of Doncaster Council is recruiting a Wellbeing Officer to deliver an all-age, person-centred service from locality bases across Doncaster. The role supports adults in wellbeing, health, education and social outcomes with dignity and respect.

The post involves early identification of carers and Armed Forces community members, helping people stay independent and active. It requires collaboration with partners to promote prevention and community capacity building.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivery of an all-age, person-centred service in a locality base.
• Support adults by promoting wellbeing principles including health, education, work, and social outcomes with dignity and respect.
• Early identification and support of unpaid adult carers.
• Early identification and support of those from the Armed Forces community.
• Help people lead healthy, connected and active lives to remain independent at home.
• Ensure individuals have choice and control in how support is provided.
• Deliver customer-facing early intervention and prevention solutions to reduce escalation to costly services.
• Collaborate with partners, residents and services to promote early intervention and community capacity building.
