Job summary

Turnbull Infrastructure Utilities LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the growing commercial team at Hinkley Point C, supporting NEC projects and developing expertise in commercial and contractual management.

You will manage costs, contracts, and change, produce forecasts and CVRs, and work closely with operations to deliver value while maintaining governance and robust reporting. A degree in QS and NEC experience are essential, nuclear sector experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, especially NEC Term Service.
• Experience in cost reporting, forecasting and administration.
• Understanding of compensation events and change management.
• Strong commercial awareness with negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and commercial management systems.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Nuclear sector experience desirable.
• Membership of RICS/CICES or pursuing accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage costs, contracts and change on NEC projects.
• Prepare forecasts, cost reports, and CVRs.
• Support subcontract account administration.
• Provide commercial advice to operations.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and governance.
• Support procurement activities and subcontract packages.
• Ensure compliance with contractual procedures and governance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
