Job summary

Turnbull is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team on the Sizewell C project. You will manage change via CEMAR, support Monthly Applications for Payment, and provide commercial guidance to site teams.

You\'ll prepare internal valuations, cost and value reports, forecast costs, and mentor junior staff while helping maximize opportunities and minimise risk. A NEC contract background, strong Excel skills, and ability to handle multiple projects (£10k to £10m) are

Qualifications

• NEC forms of contracts understanding
• Excellent Excel and Office package knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple projects (£10k–£10m)
• Excellent commercial awareness
• Driven and self-motivated
• Experience producing internal and external reports
• Degree-level qualification desirable
• Nuclear/M&E/Water/Civils background desirable
• Experience with TSC contracts desirable
• RICS/CICES qualification desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage change through CEMAR and contractual timescales
• Support timely production of Monthly Applications for Payment
• Provide commercial advice to site teams
• Prepare internal contract valuations and cost/progress assessments
• Prepare monthly cost and value reports
• Foster communication with project managers and engineers
• Compile forecasts and attend forecast meetings for risk mitigation
• Support Contracts Managers and operations with commercial guidance
• Mentor junior members of the commercial team
• Maximise opportunities and minimise risk on projects
