Turnbull in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead NEC contract delivery and the commercial performance of major infrastructure projects in Bridgwater. You will own the commercial management, cost control and reporting for projects, while mentoring junior team members and driving best-practice processes.

You will apply strong NEC expertise, manage subcontract accounts and forecasts, and collaborate with client and internal teams to maximise project value.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is required.
• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction/infrastructure.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge including change management and compensation events.
• Proven ability in cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and financial performance management.
• Experience in subcontract procurement, administration and final accounts.
• Excellent commercial acumen with analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own the commercial management of projects and drive commercial best practice.
• Manage NEC contracts from procurement to final account.
• Lead commercial administration of allocated projects and work packages.
• Forecast and report costs; prepare CVRs and convey accurate forecasts.
• Ensure robust cost control, governance and reporting.
• Manage compensation events, change control and subcontractor accounts.
• Prepare payment applications and final accounts; support procurement activities.
• Mentor Assistant and Quantity Surveyors and develop commercial processes.
