Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking an NDT Technician in Huddersfield to join a global engineering and manufacturing leader. The role involves performing VI, MPI, DPI, UT, and Nital Etch inspections on forgings, machine components and weldments, and documenting results to a strict standard.

The candidate should hold PCN Level 2 in the listed techniques, with experience in reporting inspection findings and defect interpretation, plus manual handling training and ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 minimum in Visual, MPI, DPI and UT Forgings.
• Manual Handling and training experience.
• ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor trained.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Visual, MPI, DPI, UT, and Nital Etch inspections of forgings, machine components and weldments.
• Analyse inspection results, identify flaws, interpret standards and document findings.
• Raise non-conformances per the non-conformance management procedure.
• Assist in resolving shop floor issues related to machining, welding, heat treatment or metallurgical causes.
