Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an NDT Technician for a Global Engineering and Manufacturing leader with 20+ locations and 1000+ staff. The successful candidate will commute to HUDDERSFIELD from nearby towns such as Leeds, Dewsbury and Halifax, working on rotating morning/afternoon shifts.

Key qualifications include PCN Level 2 in VI, MPI, DPI and UT Forgings, plus experience in reporting inspection results and handling audits. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 minimum in VI, MPI, DPI and UT Forgings.
• Experience preparing detailed inspection reports outlining findings and interpreting specifications.
• Manual Handling and training experience.
• ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor trained.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections: VI, MPI, DPI, UT and NE on forgings and weldments.
• Analyse results, identify flaws, interpret standards, and document findings.
• Raise non-conformance reports per procedures.
• Assist in resolving shop floor issues related to machining, welding, heat treatment, or metallurgical causes.
