Job summary

SGN in Dundee is seeking a Team Leader (NC02) to lead gas service and mains replacement activities, working outdoors and as part of a safety-focused team.

You will mentor trainee engineers, use field-based systems, and ensure high safety and technical standards. A full driving licence and GN01/GN02 qualifications are required, with additional qualifications welcome.

• Excellent customer service and team collaboration skills.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work on gas service/mains replacement, excavating in public/private highways.

• Working predominately on gas service/mains replacement activities, excavating in public and private highways for the laying and repairing of gas pipes
• Being in a variety of outdoor environments, working safely and as part of a team
• Using computer field systems
• Achieving high standards of safety and technical competence

What You Will Need

• A friendly and approachable attitude when working as part of a team, with excellent customer service skills
• Qualifications (Required): GN01, GN02
• Qualifications (Preferred but not essential) - NRSWA, ELR
• A full and valid driving licence is essential
• Comfortable with technology (for using field-based systems)
