weServed is offering an Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship in Commissioning Engineering based in Rosyth, Scotland. You will study for a BEng (Hons) while contributing to commissioning and testing on defence programmes, with a focus on either Power Engineering or Control and Instrumentation.

The programme runs four years, blending university study with hands-on work, and requires security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• UCAS Tariff: 96 points required.
• Scottish Highers: BBCC or equivalent, including Maths and a science or technology subject.
• Foundation Apprenticeships counted as one Higher at grade B with SQA Highers.
• Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6 with SQA Highers.
• HNC in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering acceptable.

Responsibilities

• This apprenticeship runs for four years and covers commissioning activities on major defence programmes.
• Study for a BEng (Hons) Engineering (Design and Manufacture) through Glasgow Caledonian University, blended learning.
• Gain experience with power engineering or control and instrumentation and support commissioning and performance testing.

Relevant Foundation Apprenticeships (counting as one Higher at grade B), in combination with SQA Highers
