Job summary

weServed is offering an Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship focused on Project Management at HM Naval Base Clyde, Scotland. You will work within Fleet Programmes, supporting submarine maintenance, upgrades and readiness while pursuing a BEng (Hons) degree.

The programme develops skills in project planning, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder engagement, leading to Project Engineer paths in the defence sector.

Qualifications

• Scottish Highers BBCC or equivalent, including Maths and a science or technology subject.
• Foundation Apprenticeships counting as one Higher, with SQA Highers.
• Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, combined with SQA Highers.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance at HM Naval Base Clyde is required.
• Contribute to maintenance, upgrade and operational readiness of the Royal Navy's submarine fleet.
• Gain hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.
