Job summary

Babcock in Rosyth offers a 4-year Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, tied to a BEng (Hons) degree. You’ll rotate across Marine EC&I and Mission Systems groups, gaining hands-on experience with power, control, navigation and communications systems.

Delivered with blended learning and supported by Babcock, you'll study alongside industry experts, with degree accreditation and structured workplace development. Salary rises each year up to £40,000.

Qualifications

• UCAS Tariff: 96 points.
• Scottish Highers: BBCC or equivalent, including Maths and a science or technology subject.
• Other pathways allowed: Foundation Apprenticeships, Modern Apprenticeship SCQF Level 6 or HNC in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support projects across ships, submarines and land-based facilities.
• Rotate through teams to understand development, integration and lifecycle support of electrical systems.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, obsolescence issues, problem solving and systems integration.
