Job summary

Babcock International in Rosyth, Scotland offers a 4-year Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering. You will study for a BEng (Hons) and rotate through Marine EC&I and MS groups, gaining hands-on experience with power, control, navigation and mission-critical systems while contributing to real programmes.

Starting in September 2027, Year 1 salary is £18,819 with progressive increases up to Year 4 (£32,261).

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 10 is the programme level.
• Strong maths and science background is preferred.
• GCSE/Scottish Highers related subjects are part of entry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join a skilled engineering team across platforms including ships, submarines, and facilities.
• Rotate through different teams to learn electrical, control & instrumentation, and mission systems engineering.
• Support feasibility studies, obsolescence tasks, problem solving and systems integration.
