Job summary

Babcock invites you to join its Quantity Surveying Graduate Programme based at HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth. You’ll support the commercial management of a major civil infrastructure programme, gaining broad experience across the commercial lifecycle.

Structured mentorship and four six‑month placements offer a clear path toward professional chartership with RICS, with agile, on‑site work and supportive development through the Babcock Role Framework.

Qualifications

• Accredited RICS degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (min 2:2) or a Masters in Quantity Surveying.
• Must be able to achieve BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• UK national eligibility is required for this programme.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management of major infrastructure projects within the Devonport programme.
• Assist with quotations, change management, and payment applications.
• Contribute to subcontract tendering and management, coordinating with MoD and supply chains.
• Develop technical and professional skills through four six‑month placements over two years.
