Job summary

Babcock invites applications for the Quantity Surveying Graduate Programme based in Devonport, Plymouth. You will join a two‑year rotation across four six‑month placements, gaining exposure to complex civil construction under NEC4 ECC/PSC terms and conditions.

You’ll receive mentorship, structured training and support toward RICS chartership, with a clear pathway to a permanent role in our Quantity Surveying function after completion.

Qualifications

• RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (min 2:2) or MSc in Quantity Surveying.
• BPSS and Security Check clearance eligibility.
• UK national eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management on major infrastructure projects at HM Naval Base Devonport.
• Assist with quotations, change management, payment applications and subcontract tendering.
• Collaborate with MOD and supply chain to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop technical and professional skills within a structured graduate program.
