Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for the Quantity Surveying Graduate Programme based at HM Naval Base Devonport in Plymouth. The two-year scheme offers structured placements across major civil projects, with on-site rotation and exposure to the full commercial lifecycle under NEC4 terms.

A starting salary of £35,000 is provided, with progression towards professional chartership. You will join a team delivering a multi-year, multi-billion-pound programme in support of the Royal Navy,

Qualifications

• BPSS and Security Check clearance are required.
• Accredited RICS degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (2:2+ or Masters).
• Baseline Security Vetting requirements may apply and nationality/residency checks may affect eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support quotations and assess changes within NEC4 ECC/PSC terms.
• Review payment applications and progress claims.
• Assist in subcontract tendering and management with MO/Defence supply chain.
