Job summary

Babcock International's Quantity Surveying Graduate Programme in Devonport, Plymouth, offers hands-on exposure to the commercial management of HM Naval Base Devonport projects. You’ll rotate through placements, support NEC4 ECC/PSC contracts, and work with MoD and supply chains to deliver multi-billion-pound infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Achieved, or on track to achieve, an accredited RICS degree in Quantity Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management or Construction Management (minimum 2:2).
• Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Under applicable national security legislation, this post may only be occupied by a sole UK national.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of major infrastructure projects at HM Naval Base Devonport.
• Contribute to quotations, change management, and applications for payment.
• Assist with subcontract tendering and management and liaise with MoD and supply chain.
• Operate within NEC4 ECC and PSC terms and conditions across the project lifecycle.
• Develop technical expertise and professional skills within the commercial team.
