Babcock in Plymouth offers a Naval Architecture Graduate Programme that develops you across hydrodynamics, structures, design and safety on complex naval projects, from submarines to ships.

The two-year placement-based programme includes expert mentorship and work toward Chartered Engineer status, with progression into engineering roles within the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Naval Architecture or a related engineering field (BEng/MEng/BSc/MSc).
• Eligibility for BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• UK nationality or eligibility for residency as required for the programme.

Responsibilities

• Work across hydrodynamics, structures, design, and safety on naval projects.
• Participate in two-year placements with mentoring and diverse team exposure.
• Support progression toward Chartered Engineer status within the organisation.
