Job summary

Babcock invites applications for its Naval Architecture Graduate Programme in Rosyth, Scotland. The two-year scheme offers placements across hydrodynamics, structures, design and stability, with mentorship to Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status.

Starting salary is £35,000+, and the programme includes development activities, a clear career pathway and potential placement across UK sites. Successful candidates will have or be on track for a relevant degree and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Achieve or be on track to achieve a BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture, Ship Science, Marine Engineering or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, analysis and integrity of naval vessels and systems.
• Learn across hydrodynamics, structures, design, stability and safety.
• Participate in placements across teams and locations to broaden experience.
