Job summary

Babcock is offering a Naval Architecture Graduate Programme in Bristol. You will work on complex naval projects, learning across hull form, stability, propulsion and systems, while supported by mentors and a structured development pathway.

The two-year placements cover hydrodynamics, structures, design, safety and readiness toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, with support toward BPSS/SC clearances and on-site field experiences.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have or be on track to achieve a BEng, MEng, BSc, or MSc in Naval Architecture or related fields.
• Security clearance BPSS and Security Check (SC) required.
• This programme requires UK nationality or eligibility under applicable security legislation.

Responsibilities

• Work on naval architecture projects across hull form, stability and propulsion.
• Learn from senior naval architects and engineers.
• Move through placements across hydrodynamics, structures, design and safety.
• Support toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with guidance.
