Job summary

Babcock is offering a Naval Architecture Graduate Programme in Rosyth, Scotland. The two-year scheme provides placements across hydrodynamics, structures, design and safety, with mentorship and structured development from day one.

You will study and contribute to real projects, including ship design, stability analysis, and support for submarine and surface vessel programmes, with a clear path toward Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status.

Qualifications

• A relevant engineering degree (as listed) required or on track to achieve.
• Security clearance: BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Support a breadth of naval architecture work across hull form, stability, design, and safety.
• Engage in placements across hydrodynamics, structures, design, and safety to gain breadth and depth.

Education

BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture, Ship Science, Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, Ship Building, Offshore Engineering, Composites, Aerospace, or Ocean Engineering
